Cancellation Policy Nicolas Hotel Apartments

1. Reservations:
  • By making a reservation, you declare full and unconditional acceptance of the hotel's accommodation, reservation, payment and cancellation policies.
  • The prices are in euros and per night. All published prices include VAT of 13% as well as all statutory taxes, except for the accommodation tax which amounts to 0.50 euros per night and is billed separately by law, and is subject to change without notice.
  • Offers are subject to availability and cannot be combined with other offers. In any case, you must inform us at the time of your reservation.

2. Advance payment and payments:
  • To fully confirm your reservation, you must deposit 30% of the total value of your stay in advance, with the minimum deposit amount being the cost of one (1) night's stay.
  • Payments by cash, bank transfer and credit cards are accepted. You must inform the hotel upon your arrival if you wish to issue an invoice for your stay.
  • The advance deposit is made within a period of two working days from the publication of the hotel's bank account to the interested customer (with the hotel sending a relevant email that includes all the necessary payment details), otherwise the pre-booking will be canceled and the room will be released.
  • The hotel has the right upon receipt of the incoming reservation to pre-authorize the credit card, while it reserves the right to cancel the reservation if the credit card details are invalid.
  • A copy of the deposit receipt (deposit) must be sent to the hotel (via email) immediately.
  • For non-refundable reservations, the entire amount of the reservation is charged at the same time as the reservation is confirmed, while modifications and cancellations are not allowed.
  • Upon your arrival, the amount of your stay is paid in full. any additional charges incurred during your stay will be paid upon your departure.

3. Reservation changes and cancellations:
  • The hotel management asks customers to inform them promptly by telephone and written communication of any changes or cancellations regarding their reservation.
4. In case of cancellation our policy is as follows:
  • The cancellation of the reservation more than 21 days before the scheduled arrival will not have a financial charge and it is at the discretion of the hotel to return the deposit.
  • For booking cancellations less than 21 days before the scheduled arrival, the customer is charged 30% of the total stay based on their booking.
  • In cases of cancellation on arrival, during the stay or for no-show at the hotel, the customer is charged 100% of the stay based on his reservation.

*in exceptional cases the hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation or to change, substitute or withdraw any service, facility or provision without notice if deemed necessary. In this case, the hotel is obliged to refund the entire amount paid by the customer for his reservation, while he will make every effort to secure you accommodation in another accommodation of at least the same category, in the same area and which will offer similar amenities and facilities.
  • For non-refundable reservations, the entire amount of the reservation is charged at the same time as the reservation is confirmed, while modifications and cancellations are not allowed.
  • Payment is made by credit or debit card or bank transfer at the time of booking.
  • If the customer needs to be transferred to a different room than the one he has booked and the room price is lower, the hotel is obliged to refund the difference.
5. Arrival and departure:
  • On arrival at the hotel you will need to have your booking code or the name under which the booking was made, your ID or passport.
  • Unless otherwise stated in your booking, arrival time is 3:00 PM and departure time is 11:00 AM. The possibility of extending the time after 11:00 depends on the occupancy of the hotel, and is subject to an additional financial charge as follows:
    • Check-out until 18:00 is subject to 50% of the daily charge and,
    • Check-out after 18:00 at 100% of the daily charge.
  • In any case, you must communicate this request to the hotel reception upon your arrival.

6. Children Policy:
  • Infants and children under 4 stay free of charge provided they are accommodated in their parents' beds or in a cot (provided free of charge subject to availability).
  • Children over 4 years old and up to 12 years old have an additional charge which is calculated at 50% of the adult price.
  • All children staying at the hotel must be accompanied and under the constant supervision of an adult.

7. Smoking Policy:
  • Smoking is prohibited in all rooms as well as in all common indoor areas of the hotel.

8.Pets:
  • Customers are requested not to cause a disturbance, to behave politely and to respect other guests and hotel staff. Also, all tenants must comply with the hotel's regulations, while the hotel reserves the right to refuse access or evict without reservation any person whose behavior is considered to be prevalent. In this case the hotel is not obliged to submit any compensation.
9. Customer Conduct:
  • Customers are requested not to cause a disturbance, to behave politely and to respect other guests and hotel staff. Also, all tenants must comply with the hotel's regulations, while the hotel reserves the right to refuse access or evict without reservation any person whose behavior is considered to be prevalent. In this case the hotel is not obliged to submit any compensation.

10. Damages and damages to the room:
  • In case of damage to a room or other property due to fraud, willfulness or negligence, the hotel reserves the right to charge the amount of the damage due to interruption of activities, to the credit/debit card of the registered customer. In case the customer has not paid by card but in cash or another way, the hotel will demand the immediate payment of the amount of the damage suffered by the customer otherwise it reserves all its legal rights.

11. Force majeure:
  • The hotel bears no responsibility in the event that it cannot fulfill its obligations to the customer, in whole or in part, due to cases of force majeure (indicative strikes, fire, acts of terrorism, floods, etc.)

12. Limitation of Liability:
  • Each customer is responsible throughout their stay at the hotel for keeping personal and/or valuable items, money, etc. in a safe place. In any case, the hotel is not responsible for any loss or damage thereof. For other items brought to the hotel by each customer, the hotel is exempted from any liability if the damage or loss is due to the negligence of the customer or other persons staying with him, visiting him or in his service. Also, the hotel is not responsible if the damage, destruction or loss is due to force majeure (earthquake, fire, etc.).

13. Applicable law - Other terms:
  • These terms are governed by Greek Law.

14. Accuracy of Information
  • The customer accepts that the hotel has made all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information contained on its website.
